Tips for House Cleaning

The following items should be washed & dried on a normal temperature setting.
Items that will get ruined from washing or you prefer not to wash, can be bagged up and put away for two weeks.
Any lice on those items will die and the items may be used again.
Don’t feel embarrassed & keep it a secret…
Make sure to notify the following:
  • School nurses, so classes can be checked
  • Neighbors
  • Friends
  • Relatives
  • Babysitters
  • Daycare Centers
  • Camps
  • Any other places where children interact
…Because if you don’t tell others, and they have it, you can get it again.
  • Fabric covered toys
  • Dolls and stuffed animals
  • Dress up costumes
  • Bean bags
  • Helmets, headphones, and items that are put near the hair
  • Vacuum fabric-covered chairs, couches, ottomans, etc.
  • Wash or vacuum decorative pillows.
  • Wash hats, scarves, and coats if they will be worn.
  • Thoroughly wash brushes and combs, and we suggest to put them away for two weeks. Buy a new one for the meantime.
  • Wash knapsacks and over-the-shoulder bags
  • Chair at work
  • Robes and Towels
  • Vacuum all carpets and rugs in the house
  • Vacuum fabric covered chairs
  • Wash blankets, pillows, linen, dust ruffles, mattress covers, and any other items on the bed.
  • Flip mattresses depending on the severity of the case.
  • Wash all stuffed animals and dolls.

  • Vacuum Car seats
  • Vacuum Booster seats
